This invite-only event will allow foster children (and their families) and children from local shelters (and their families) to enjoy an evening of games, fun, and of course food! We truly want to make this a community event to remember. In conjunction with the San Fernando Valley Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), Shepherd Church, and other community organizations are sponsoring Light Up the Night, December 12 from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. to be held at Shepherd Church in Porter Ranch.
We are anticipating having many of the foster children in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys attend with their families. We are providing buses for 100 kids from local family shelters as well. We expect to have about 3,000 children and their families to be in attendance.
Let’s finish 2025 off strong by loving on these beautiful children and their families.
