Hope for Grief Workshop

About this Event

Everything changes when we lose a loved one. Our Hope for Grief Workshop is a safe place for grieving people to better understand their grief as a result of their loss. This event is for anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one and for those who desire to help people experiencing grief.

This workshop will cover: Best and worst things to say to someone grieving.

We will be gathering in the Next Steps room at our Porter Ranch campus on Sunday, September 29 at 1:00 p.m.

The workshop will be taught by Dr. David Page, our Pastoral Care Director at Shepherd Church and the author of The School of Grief: A Guide to Finding Hope, Meaning and Purpose After Loss. Pastor Dave knows what it’s like to lose a significant loved one having lost his 5-year-old daughter (Jackie) to a brain tumor.

Come discover hope in the midst of your pain. This workshop will be a time of inspiration, encouragement and hope. We believe our grief never ends because love never ends.

This is a free event. Adults only, no childcare provided.
