Hope for Grief Workshop
Everything changes when we lose a loved one. Our Hope for Grief Workshop at Shepherd Church is a safe place for grieving people to better understand their grief as a result of their loss.
It’s for anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one and for those who desire to work with those in grief.
Topics Include:
• Growing Our Soul Through Loss
• Our Grief Doesn’t Get Smaller, but We Grow Bigger (Transformation)
• Our Story and Redemptive Grief
We will be gathering in the Next Steps room at our Porter Ranch campus on Sunday, March 17th at 1:00pm.
The workshop will be taught by Dr. David Page, our Pastoral Care Director at Shepherd Church and the author of The School of Grief: A Guide to Finding Hope, Meaning and Purpose After Loss. Pastor Dave knows what it’s like to lose a significant loved one after losing his 5-year-old daughter (Jackie) to a brain tumor.
Come discover hope in the midst of your pain. This workshop will be a time of inspiration, encouragement and hope. Pastor Dave will do a book signing after the workshop. We believe our grief never ends because love never ends.
This is a free event. Adults only, no childcare provided.
