Patrick Tatevossian has been teaching Tae Kwon Do for over 24 years and has trained thousands of students in the martial arts. He has earned a 5th Degree Black Belt and a designation of master of Taekwondo. With over 32 years of martial arts experience, Sir Patrick has competed and achieved gold medals in dozens of competitions. Among his many awards and accomplishments, Sir Patrick has won 3 U.S. Regional Championships. He has also appeared in a martial art video short with 7th Heaven's David Gallagher and in a martial art music video with singer Javelyn.

Using his knowledge of various Martial Arts disciplines; such as: Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Hap Ki Do, Aikido, Judo, Japanese and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai/Kickboxing, and Krav Maga; Sir Patrick has successfully designed a Martial Art program that unites the earliest traditions of Tae Kwon Do with the principles and techniques of today's most effective styles. Along with the physical aspect of the martial arts, Sir Patrick emphasizes Biblical principles and a Christ-centered curriculum, focusing on prayer and references to Scripture.

Among all his training and experience, Sir Patrick’s greatest passion is his love of GOD, faith in Jesus Christ, and his family. Sir Patrick is married to his beautiful wife Christine and they have two energetic little boys: Nikolas & Christopher. Sir Patrick & Christine have been attending Shepherd since 2009, they have both been baptized at Shepherd, and can’t wait for when their boys will be ready to be baptized at Shepherd too.
