DCFS THANKSGIVING MEAL DRIVE
Once again, Shepherd Church is sponsoring Thanksgiving meals for the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) foster families and other at-risk families in the area. The San Fernando Valley has well over 2,000 foster families, and we want to help make a difference starting this Thanksgiving season.
This year, you will be able to purchase the meal digitally; that's right, no need to go shopping and packing boxes. Your online gift is going to be delivered to one of DCFS' foster families! By giving $75, you will provide the necessary funds for a family of 4. They will be able to have turkey, all their favorite side dishes, and of course, dessert.
We understand that some of you may have the ability to purchase multiple meals, and if so, our online portal will accommodate your donation.
