Outreach

A team from Shepherd will be traveling to India to serve alongside our Global Partners. This team will have the opportunity to visit and take part in various ministries run by our partner organization but will be focusing primarily on ministering to and praying for believers and encouraging them to stand firm in their faith in the face of persecution.

Hosted by the New England office, Family Retreat offers a haven for families living with disability. In a fully accessible camp environment, families are cared for, rejuvenated, and encouraged in Christ. Enjoy a fun, Christ-centered environment that is safe and accepting for each member of the family. During this time of respite, you will build lasting memories and find renewed hope as you take part in Bible study, accessible activities, and opportunities to connect with other families who face similar challenges. Join us for a time of fun and refreshment—it’s a little slice of heaven! This week of Family Retreat is specifically designed for families living with an adult loved one (18+) with a disability.

This mission trip is curated for individuals dedicated to humanitarian service, education, and empowering those who have faced adversity through the love of Jesus. We will be hosting free classes for the North Korean women and their families so if you have a special talent or gift that you can teach others, let us know! We will spend a day in prayer for North Korea and the Christians who are persecuted for their Faith.

Rockside Ranch exists to help young men overcome the crisis and thrive in work and life through working the ranch, loving community, and Christ-centered learning. A team of Shepherd men are invited to travel to Rockside Ranch with the purpose of building and constructing a brand new basketball court which will further encourage these young men to pursue health in every area of their lives.

Once again, a team from Shepherd will be traveling to Seoul to partner with "Let’s Start Talking" (LST) - the international form of Shepherd’s “English & Coffee” ministry. We will be joining partners in South Korea by offering free one-on-one conversational English practice to those wishing to improve their English using biblical material to teach.

Wheels for the World™️ offers the hope of the Gospel while providing life-changing mobility to people living with disabilities worldwide. Serve with us as a Seating Therapist, Mechanic, Photojournalist, Seamstress, or in a Support role. Every team member will directly impact people living with disability in a life-changing way. This short-term trip to Central Asia this Fall, we will combine the local holidays with a unique opportunity to share the message of God with the community. This trip is designed for individuals who are passionate about cultural exchange, outreach, and spreading the teachings of faith. We will be participating in outreach events for children, local hospitals, single-parent homes, etc.
